I've always loved building, making and creating things for as long as I can remember. As a younster, I'd often spend hours making my own 'Lego' creations or building my own play dens in the house and garden with anything I could get my hands on!

 

I had my first taste of 'Home Improvement' at the ripe old age of 13, when I took it upon myself to re-tile the upstairs bathroom in my parents house, to help take the 'DIY heat' off dad (after he received an ear-bashing' from mum for not finishing off jobs around the house). Ok, it wasnt my finest work, but not bad for a 13 year old and it was certainly the milestone event that gave me the 'Home Improvement' bug that drives me today!

 

Roll forward a few years, once I'd left school I chose to follow my passion for designing and building things by going down the Interior and Product/Furniture Design route at college, then eventually progressed to University where I completed an Honours Degree in Product Design Engineering at Leeds University.

 

Then out into the big wide world, where I've spent the last 25 yrs gathering experience and 'moving up the ladder' (excuse the pun) in lots of interesting 'design and build' fields....Not forgetting the countless hours spent renovating project properties for family and friends and myself along the way!

 

Then in 2018, with a wife, 2 kids and a steadily receding hairline, I finally decided to take the advice of friends & family and chose to set up my own business. Despite my initial nervousness in taking the plunge, a wise old owl told me to "just let the quality of your work do the talking".  So I took that advice on board and as a result, I've never looked back and had an amazing response from customers old and new ever since!
